WELCOME TO ONSITE TRUCK REPAIR, INC.
A family-based business with deep roots in the trucking community. Established in 1989 by Ronnie and Darlene Champigny, they began as a mobile truck and trailer repair service dedicated to getting vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.
A VAN THAT STARTED IT ALL
Setting up a former 1986 GMC Nynex service van, Ronnie hit the road and highways to provide timely on-site repairs to local businesses and independent truck drivers.

A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS FROM THE BEGINNING
Darlene managed the dispatch, billing, and bookkeeping from their home. During this time, their son Ron Jr began learning the trade by helping his dad after school.
OUR HISTORY
1995
By 1995, they expanded their business and opened their first brick-and-mortar location at the corner of Cowden and Perry Streets in Central Falls, RI, an auto repair shop formerly owned by Ron's father, Ed, and brother, Bob.
2005
Ron and his son expanded the business in 2005, adding the sales, service, and installation of Fisher Plows, furthering their commitment to meeting their customers' needs.
2013
In 2013, they relocated to 34 Colfax Street in Pawtucket, RI, where they are currently located. The new facility is right off Route 95, with easy on-and-off access. It features a spacious garage for comprehensive truck and trailer repair and a full retail customer showroom with a large inventory of Fisher Plows, parts, and accessories. This also includes sanders, emergency lighting, and other truck accessories.
